In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Statutory Equipment Inspection Solutions Ltd.
3. Information on this website is general guidance, not advice
The information on this website about LOLER, PUWER, PSSR and COSHH, and about statutory inspection, examination and testing more generally, is provided for general guidance only. It is intended to help you understand the duties that may apply to you. It is not legal advice, and it is not a substitute for a formal inspection or examination of your equipment.
Every site and item of equipment is different. You should not rely on the information on this website as the basis for deciding whether your equipment is safe, compliant or fit for use. Decisions of that kind must be based on a formal examination or inspection by a competent person and, where appropriate, on specific professional advice. If in doubt, please contact us or another suitably qualified professional.
4. Keeping the information accurate
We take care to make sure the information on the website is accurate and up to date. However, statutory duties, regulations and official guidance change over time, and the website may not always reflect the latest position. We make no representations or warranties, whether express or implied, that the content on the website is accurate, complete or current. To the extent permitted by law, we do not accept responsibility for any reliance placed on the website’s content.
5. Intellectual property and use of our content
All content on this website, including the text, graphics, layout, illustrations, animations, logos and design, is owned by or licensed to Statutory Equipment Inspection Solutions Ltd and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.
You may view the website and print or download extracts for your own personal use or for the internal reference of your organisation. You must not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell or otherwise use any part of the website for commercial purposes without our prior written permission, and you must not remove any copyright or other proprietary notices from material you download.
6. Acceptable use of the website
You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- use the website in any way that breaches any applicable law or regulation;

7. Links to other websites
The website may contain links to other websites and resources provided by third parties, for example the Health and Safety Executive or legislation.gov.uk. 8. Availability of the website
We provide the website free of charge and on an “as is” basis. We do not guarantee that the website, or any content on it, will always be available, uninterrupted or free from errors. We may suspend, withdraw or change all or any part of the website without notice. We will not be liable to you if the website is unavailable at any time or for any period.

Subject to the above, we will not be liable to you for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, arising under or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the website, or your reliance on any content on it. In particular, we will not be liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
This section does not affect the separate terms that apply to any inspection services we provide to you, or any rights you may have that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
10. Enquiries and quotes
Submitting an enquiry or requesting a quote through the website does not create a contract between us. Any inspection or other services that we agree to provide will be carried out under separate terms agreed in writing. Nothing on the website is an offer capable of acceptance.
